Swimming In The Lagoon, is the name of this oil painting. It definitely has a summery feel about it. The season of the year that stirs much happiness and excitement.  It is a tranquil, peaceful setting and the rushing waterfall helps also in creating this mood.  This painting stirs many happy summer memories for me as a child.  The beautiful water, with its greeny blue colour is definitely pleasing to the eye. It is a refreshing, luminous painting and definitely a scene that I love and enjoy very much.  I feel like I am right there, enjoying a cool, refreshing swim in the lagoon and standing right under the waterfall. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this piece.
